Ten miles on Siesta Key Beach today at my marathon pace -- on a beautiful morning. Started out in layers and then made it down to running gear for a glorious double trip on the crescent beach here. The quartz white sand beaches are like noneother and it was good. I was accompanied by some of my favorite NPR shows and then wrapped up with some upbeat music to bring me home.
Its been a great Weekend here in Sarasota -- my cousin and I hosted a dinner for 10 last night at the home of a friend with a great view of the bay. Good times, good food and some laughter made it a good night for all. Should be a relatively quiet day here on the Key
