What a fabulous day! One highlight was waking up to sunshine versus rain!
Today was the official kickoff for TNT at the SF Marriott from 9-12noon.
Inspiration is an understatement -- there were over 500 people in the room, and at least 20+ honorees and 50+mentors and coaches. As you would expect of me, tears in my eyes as one man told his story of being an endurance athlete for 2 years with TNT and then being diagnosed with leukemia. A marrow transplant is now extending his life. If our run team each hit our goals, we will raise $450K to fight blood cancers.
I also went over the Oakland Bay Bridge today in my Hertz rental car, and shopped and had a great time and found a shopping mecca! Dinner from Trader Joe's after this post.
Did 40 minutes (10 elliptical and 30 treadmill), and tomorrow is our first YOYO (You are on your own) and I'll try to get it in early before heading down to Los Altos for mass and visit with Aunt Sheila and Ann! All of your generosity is overwhelming, thanks for running with me in spirit!
