This morning I came to the office to find out that the 1st Habitat for Humanity homeowner in San Francisco who emceed the Gala event I spoke of last week was murdered in the streets near his house (Link to the article below). He invited all of us to attend his son's college graduation in Tennessee next week.

Tonight I have planned to attend a Habitat for Humanity Orientation for new Volunteers. Sure adds a somber note and some uncertainty to my commitment. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends today.
